If you would like me to make a banjo for you there are a few options. One is using the order form and instructions for that below. The second way to order, is to find a banjo on my "New Banjos" section that you are interested in and email me an inquiry about it. I will send you a price quote on making a banjo like it. Thirdly, I usually have banjos in the works that aren't claimed or advertised, you can email a simple "Do you have any extra banjos in the works??" and I will get back to you with info on those. Receive $200 off any banjo when you order it with my turned ball end shoes or hex shoes, when you place an order before January 1st 2019. Please see the hardware page for our different hardware options.
To order using the order form, make sure you understand the payment terms below,
then fill out the Order Form.
After that, I will send you an email and we’ll work out the details.
You can also feel free to call me at 503-568-3044
Current wait time is approximately 2-4 months.
I do my best to help a buyer pick the options that will work best for them when a ordering a banjo and I make banjos to the specs that are filled out on each order form. The order form makes it so most of the banjos I make are a unique banjo, no two are exactly the same. Banjos ordered and made to the specs of the customers choosing, are non returnable. Banjos bought from me that are already completed that weren't ordered through the order form, can be returned for a refund within two days of purchasing. The buyer pays for return shipping and a $45 restocking fee.
Due to the ever rising prices of getting bronze castings made, starting in January 2018, butterfly shoes and the L shoes will be available as an extra charge option. Butterfly shoes are now $10 each and the L shoes are $8 each. The brass ball end shoes and wide base hex shoes are included with the price of any model banjo. All brass hardware is handmade in our shop.
When you place your order for a banjo, I ask for a $200 deposit that is non refundable once I start your banjo.
I ask for a second $800 payment when I get started on your banjo.
The remaining balance is requested upon completion of your banjo.
I am a one-man shop, so completion times can vary. Some specialty items may take up to a year.
Each banjo has a lifetime warranty for the original owner.
Most of the banjos I make are custom orders, but I also make banjos that aren't commissioned. When this happens, I will list any banjos immediately available for sale on this page.
