Banjo #330

This is a 12" Spartan model with a dyed maple rim and a 1/4" rolled brass tone ring. Ebony rim cap and raw brass hardware. Goat skin head. These banjos are sturdy work horses. The name Spartan comes from the 1958 Chevy Spartan school bus that I used to make banjos out of in New Mexico. Before I owned the bus a family of 5 lived in it, but that's a different story This banjo stayed here in Portland, OR.
